Committee Planning Lunch
If you are the head of a committee or in charge of planning events for your group, please plan to attend the Hospitality Meeting scheduled for TODAY, November 16th immediately following the worship service. This meeting will allow for the opportunity to look ahead at next year’s calendar and begin planning events for the coming year. The Hospitality Committee will be providing lunch, so plan to attend. |
Christmas Pageant News
Parents- If your child is in the Christmas pageant please bring them to the front of the sanctuary IMMEDIATELY following the service TODAY. Please stay with your child while they await instructions. Some of the children will be practicing and some will be fitted for costumes. Make sure you check the bulletin board in the hallway for updates and information concerning the pageant. If you have any questions, please ask Michelle Roberts. |
Core Curriculum Recitals
Elder Tom Cambron will be available to hear any Children’s Catechism recitals on Sunday, November 23rd following the worship service. The recitals will be heard upstairs in the 5-6 grade Sunday school classroom. |
From the Session
The Elders and Deacons are currently considering nominations for the offices of Elder and Deacon for next year. Any member of B.C. ARP Church may suggest a name for consideration. However, before a name may be submitted, the nominees must be asked if they are willing to be nominated, and they must meet the requirements of Scripture and the Standards of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church to serve as an officer.
Please submit in writing to Ralph Bohlke, chairman of the Deacons, or Al Haenel, Clerk of Session, names of nominees for Deacon or Elder respectively. Nominations for Deaconesses may be made to Ralph Bohlke as well. |
Advent Breakfast
Come celebrate the beginning of the Advent season with our annual Advent Breakfast, Sunday, November 30th at 9 AM.
Bring a breakfast dish to pass. Juice and coffee will be provided. Let’s give glory to the Lord this season! |
Thank You from the Deaconesses
The deaconesses would like to extend their gratitude to all who were able to be involved in the Clothing Swap. It was a very successful outreach to both the church family as well as those in the community. All the volunteers who helped to fold, prepare and clean up were greatly appreciated. Thank you to all who donated of themselves and their clothing to serve our Lord in our Mission Field here at home. |
End-of Year Reports and Meeting
Our Annual Congregational Meeting is scheduled for MONDAY, December 8. Mark your calendar for this important meeting. If you are responsible for preparing an end-of-the-year report, plan to have it submitted to the church office no later than Sunday, November 30. |
